Why Cold-Process Soap?

There is something pretty incredible about making soap the Old-Fashioned Way.

Cold-Process soap begins with oils and butters that are transformed through the soapmaking process into an entirely new product: true soap.

Each Desert Bloom batch is mixed, poured, cut by hand, and then left to cure for several weeks before its ready for you.

It isn't the fastest way to make soap.

And that's exactly why I love it!

There is no rushing the process. Temperature matters. Formulation matters. Ingredients matter. Cure time matters.

Making beautiful soap requires patience - and I think you can feel the difference when you finally get one of these bars in your hands.
